New openings
You can tell that spring is approaching, because we have tons of new openings coming up.
Recently opened spots include Malago Coffee on East Street in Bedminster, Ernie’s Pizza in Wapping Wharf, and Billie’s on Gloucester Road. I also somehow missed Silk cocktail bar opening in Clifton Village in December, so consider yourself informed!
The Arjee Bhajee has moved from Kingswood to Hotwells, and also opened Thank Cod For That next door. Rice Box (little brother to the excellent Fat Rice) will open their kiosk in Wapping Wharf on Friday 6th, then be open on Fridays and Saturdays.
Flour House will open their new cafe in what was Kitchen by KASK on North Street shortly, and Haute Dolci will be opening their latest dessert cafe opening in Cabot mid March. Wapping Wharf will also see two more newbies arrive in March: Toastie Queens and Rice & Shine.
Openings a little later this spring include Lil’ Nashville country and western-themed bar on All Saints Street, Turcuisine on Cheltenham Road, Book Cellar wine bar and bookshop on Stokes Croft, and Crave at the top of Whiteladies Road.
And even further down the line are a potential restaurant pop-up at a long derelict site in Clifton Village, and an exciting new bar in former Stock Exchange building on St Nicholas Street.
That’s it for this month, you can see what I’m eating on Instagram, or see the latest local food news by following A Life Less Organised on Facebook.
