Celebrations, festivals and dinners
To celebrate their recent refresh and new menu, Pizza on the Park are giving away 200 free pizzas from 3-6pm at their restaurant on Sunday 16th October. Be quick!
South Bristolians, there’s a handy neighbourhood beer festival coming to Knowle on the weekend of 15th & 16th, Redcatch Beer Festival Fundraiser will feature 10 beers, 4 ciders, live music and street food.
91 Ways are hosting their first ever Afghan supper club at City of Bristol College on Wednesday 19th Oct, priced at £25 for several courses.
East Bristolians assemble! East Bristol Hops are looking for new people to join their community of hop growers to help make the annual Easton Promise beer – the launch is on Fri 21st October at the Dawkins Brewery. Find out more here.
The final few tickets for Hoptoberfest on 21st and 22nd are up for grabs, priced at £35 for unlimited beers and cider, plus entertainment.
Co-founders of The Coconut Tree Rodrigo & Shamil are taking their winning menu from Come Dine With Me: The Professionals on the road, with the special menu coming to their Clifton restaurant on Thursday 20th October. The menu is priced at £19 per person, or £38 if you want the courses paired with cocktails, and you can book via their website.
If you’re looking for some other special foodie treats this month, try Yoga Brunch Club x Ubuntu Food in the grand surrounds of The Mount Without on Sun 16th, or head to The Square Kitchen for a nine-course French-inspired extravaganza on Thu 27th, paired with seven French wines and priced at £75 per person.
Join Native Vine for their Natural Wine Fair from midday until 6pm on Sat 29th at the Bristol Beacon, where you can sample over 200 wines, ciders, spirits and non-alcoholic delights, along with live music and local culinary favourites.

New places to visit
Get yourself along to Spirited on North Street in Bedminster to browse their epic collection of spirits and top notch wines, or try a tasting flight of rums or whiskies. There’s also a new Society Cafe on the corner of Baldwin Street and the Centre if you’re looking for a new plaxce to stop for a cuppa.
The much-anticipated Cor restaurant opens on 26th October, and is headed up by chef Mark Chapman, who has come from several years of heading up the menus for Bravas, Gambas and Cargo Cantina, so you know this is going to be good!
There are also plenty of openings coming soon, including Afrikana Kitchen on Baldwin Street and Muse Brasserie on Prince Street in the city centre, The Cheese Platter in Redland, and Dios sandwich shop on North Street, from the same team behind Hugo’s Greengrocers.
